Administration Utility Liaison

Department: Accounting
Location: Pueblo, CO
Salary: $25 - $31 Per Hour

General Purpose

This position is a dynamic and adaptable role responsible for providing administrative and clerical support across multiple departments. This position is also responsible for processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner. This fast-paced role sometimes requires working beyond the standard 40-hour week; flexibility is key.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to all areas of departments as directed or where service or assistance is needed. Including Administration, HR, Accounting, Retail Support, and Loan Operations.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, greet visitors, and handle general inquiries.
  • Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and document management duties.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
  • Collect and review payroll timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process biweekly payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate benefit and deduction processing.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timesheets, and deductions.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Knowledge

  • Automated payroll, timekeeping, and applicant tracking systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll and accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Understanding of commercial and consumer loan terminology.

  • Time management and the flexibility to shift tasks and priorities quickly as departmental needs change.

Ability

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

  • Quickly learn job specific software as needed.

Experience

  • 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a multi-departmental support role.
  • Experience with payroll processing required. Knowledge of Paylocity a plus.
  • 5 years of banking experience to include loan documentation and working with loan officers and assistants, as well as processing customers’ requests and performing data entry and maintenance of accounts.
  • 2 years of standard accounting practices and procedures.

Equipment

  • Computer, 10-key, telephone, copier and various small office equipment.

Estimated Pay Range: $25-31 hourly depending on knowledge, experience, skills, and education
